# Studio

Cogram Studio is a browser-based CAD and building-modelling workspace. Describe the result, and the Cogram Agent builds or edits a geometric CAD/BIM model. You can also edit objects, measure geometry, create views, schedules and sheets, and exchange model files.

Use the Cogram Agent inside Studio, or [connect an external agent with MCP](/connect-ai-agents/external-agents.md). External agents can inspect and edit Studio projects with your approval.

Studio records external tool activity in the relevant project. The conversation remains in the external client.

Studio is designed for an iterative workflow:

1. State the intended result and its constraints.
2. Let the agent make a bounded change.
3. Inspect the geometry and review the change.
4. Continue, revise, or undo.

Studio creates native, parametric geometry and supports established CAD and BIM exchange formats. Choose the format that best suits the next stage of work.
